Apple Pie

Apple Pie

Mix and let sit for 8 hours or overnight

8 1/2c sliced, peeled apples (thin)
1/2c brown sugar
1/2c. white sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 TBSP lemon juice
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ nutmeg
3 TBSP flour

Use with favorite pie crust.
Bake 425F for 20 minutes with pie shield. Then bake at 425F for 45 minutes with tin foil covering the pie. Finally, bake at 375F for 30 minutes with no cover.

Notes: this is the best apple pie ever.
