Marinara sauce

Marinara sauce

which you can use however you like, its handy to have around. I dont use measurments just use what you like.

Onion chopped, Garlic minced...saute till onion is translucent.

Celery finely chopped, Carrot finely chopped...add to pot and saute till crisp tender

Salt and Pepper...add to pot with tomatoes

Sugar? (Optional will make sweeter sauce)...add with tomatoes

Tomatoes chopped(seed if you dont want seeds in your sauce)...add to pot, bring to boil so it gets soupy, reduce to simmer uncovered until sauce is reduced to desired thickness.

Fresh chopped herbs of choice or dried herbs..stir in at the end

If you want to freeze some just measure out 16-24oz in to ziploc bag. If you seal the bag and lay it flat and spread the sauce out, then let extra air out, lay down to freeze then when its solid you can stand it up and it fits in the freezer better than a big ziploc blob:)
