Rachelle’s Chocolate Chip Cookies

1c. butter flavored shortening
3/4c white sugar
3/4c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 TBSP vanilla extract
2 1/4c all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2c. milk chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease cookie sheets. In a bowl, cream together the butter flavored shortening, brown sugar and white sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, beating well, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually stir into the creamed mixture. Fold in the chocolate chips. Drop rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.

Bake for 8-10 minutes in the preheated oven, until light brown. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing.
