HONEY MULLED CIDER

10 c. apple juice
1/3 c. honey
1/8 t. salt
dash ground ginger
dash ground nutmeg
5 inches stick cinnamon, broken
1 1/2 t. whole cloves
In crockpot combine juice, honey, salt, ginger, and
nutmeg. Add cinnamon and cloves (tied in a
cheesecloth, if desired). Cover; heat on low for 4 -
4 1/2 hours. Makes 20 4 oz. servings.
Notes by Bethany: If I'm making a single batch, I just put 1 2/3
cans of frozen concentrate (1 can makes 6 cups) and 5
cans of water. If I'm making a double batch, then I
just use 3 cans of concentrate and 9 cans of water. I
don't bother making the juice up first. I put the
cinnamon and cloves in teaballs. And I put a little
more than a dash of ginger and nutmeg. :)
