Pot Roast

Pot Roast
(Fix-it and Forget-it Cookbook crock-pot)

3 potatoes, thinly sliced
2 large carrots, thinly sliced
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
3-4lb pot roast
1/2c. water

1. Put vegetables in bottom of slow cooker. Stir in salt and pepper. Add roast. Pour in water.
2. Cover. Cook on low 10-12 hours
